April Foolin'

Somehow Harris heard about this thing called April fool's day. He was super excited to play as many tricks as he wanted all day long. So to oblige, Tom left a version of himself on the couch via a hat, blankets, pillows and an extra pair of shoes. I served a lunch of apricot/whip cream fried eggs and filled their milk cups with cream as well. Harris enjoyed the day much and filled it with his own jokes such as "Look it's snowing" and "What's for lunch?" at breakfast time. Calvin also joined in the fun mostly by yelling "APRIL FOOLS" at unexpected times throughout the day. While in my past experiences April Fools Day has mostly seemed like an excuse for people to be mean to each other, I must admit it was kind of fun to see them so excited about being silly and it made me want to be silly too.

  1. It sounds like you had a fun day "foolin" each other. Bethani fooled me by waking me up before she went to school after having set the clocks ahead a couple of hours. She had me very confused and thought it was very funny.
